No finish line. No set distance. No podium of three. You run a 6.7056km loop every hour, on the hour, until you're the only one left moving.
Every hour on the dot, the next loop begins. Miss the start — you're done.
Finish the 6.7056km loop and rest until the next one starts. Or pull out. Your call.
When only one runner remains willing to start the next loop — they're the winner. The rest are DNF.

The winner is the last person to complete a yard when all others have stopped. Everyone else is officially DNF. Results are given in yards completed.
If no participant can complete one more yard than anyone else — there is no winner. The race is open-ended. It ends only when one is left standing.
The race has no set duration or distance cap. It runs until one remains. Riverland BYU starts 13 March 2027 at 12:00pm midday — and ends only when one is left.

Solo glory is the heart of backyard ultra — but at Riverland BYU, four runners can lock in together and go to war as a team. Every loop counts. Every hour counts. Last team standing.
Declared at registration. No day-of formation. You go in together.
Every loop completed within the 60-minute window adds a point to the team total.
If a runner doesn't complete yard 9, only yard 8 counts. Every completed loop stays on the board — nothing is lost, but incomplete yards don't score.
